Getting started
Four steps to your first real dashboard: sign up for the free 30-day trial (every feature unlocked, no credit card), add your Noon store in Settings and connect the Noon API or choose CSV uploads, wait for the first sync or press Sync now, then add COGS per SKU so net profit reflects your real unit costs. The dashboard walks you through these with a checklist until the first orders land.
Connecting your Noon store
The Noon Partner API is the recommended way to feed SKUmargin. Create an API user at partners.noon.com with the finance, orders, and catalog scopes, download the JSON credentials file, drop it into the Connect via Noon API block in Settings, and hit Test connection.
Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before they touch the database, only decrypted in memory for outbound Noon API calls, never logged, and never returned to the browser.
What syncs, and when
Every 2 hours, for each connected store, SKUmargin pulls the settlement statements (the payout report with the real fees: commission, FBN fulfilment, advertising, refund reversals and non-order charges), the orders as they are placed, your catalog with live status, FBN stock and current prices, and, if your account runs Noon Ads, campaign spend, clicks, conversions and ROAS from Ad Manager. The first sync covers the last 30 days. Sync now on the dashboard pulls immediately and shows progress until the run finishes.
Uploading CSVs
Use the Uploads page when API sync is not available or to backfill history older than 30 days. SKUmargin imports Settlement, Orders, Products, Returns and Ads exports from Noon. Re-uploading a file with the same rows never double-counts fees or orders, and unknown headers produce a clear missing-columns error rather than silent bad data.
COGS and your own costs
COGS is what you pay per unit to source, package, and land a product. Add it from the Products page per SKU with an applies-from date, or in bulk via a Products CSV with a cogs column. SKUmargin keeps a full history: each order's profit uses the COGS entry in effect on the order's date, so historic numbers stay stable when you log a new cost today. Sellers who ship orders themselves add their own shipping cost per unit in the same dialog; it is counted beside COGS and never touched by the settlement.
Estimates until Noon settles
Noon reports a sale the day it happens but pays out, with the fees, on a statement weeks later. Until then an unsettled order is valued at the price you had listed on the day it was placed and its fees are estimated from the SKU's own settled history, its fee estimates, or the store's fee assumptions, and the dashboard says how much is still an estimate. When the statement lands, Noon's actual revenue and fees replace the estimates order by order.
Understanding the dashboard
Six views per store: Tiles (up to five period cards, each with Sales, Orders / Units, Refunds, Adv. cost, COGS, Gross profit, Margin and Net profit against the comparison period), Chart (daily gross vs net profit), P&L (monthly income statement), Trends (any KPI at daily, weekly or monthly granularity), Ads and VAT. Net profit is sales minus Noon's fees, minus COGS and your own shipping cost, minus advertising as billed, minus indirect expenses. Cancelled orders are excluded everywhere because Noon never settles them.
Advertising
The Ads tab shows what Noon billed you for advertising on the settlement statement, net of subsidies and free credit, which is the figure that reaches net profit, alongside what your campaigns spent per day from Noon Ad Manager with clicks, conversions and ROAS. Billed advertising is split across SKUs in proportion to campaign spend so per-product profit carries a fair share.
Indirect expenses
The Expenses page holds costs no single order carries: rent, accounting, software, packaging. One-time, recurring (weekly to yearly) or amortized over a number of months. They belong to your organisation and are subtracted from net profit on the tiles and in the P&L.
VAT report
The VAT tab summarises output VAT collected on Noon sales month by month at your country's statutory rate: 5% UAE, 15% KSA, 14% Egypt. Figures marked Estimated were computed from gross revenue assuming VAT-inclusive prices. Export to CSV and reconcile against your FTA, ZATCA, or ETA filing; it is decision support, not a filing system.
The Products page
Catalog view: image, SKU, title, price, COGS and three listing-status pills (Content, Offer, Stock) straight from Noon's own issue codes. Profit view: per-SKU units, revenue, net profit, margin, ROI and return rate over 7 to 90 days, sortable, exportable, with every order behind the number one click away.
Profit calculator
The in-app Calculator answers what-happens-to-my-margin-if questions before you change a price or source a product. Pick one of your SKUs and it prefills the selling price and real per-unit fees from your own settlement history. There is also a free public version at /noon-profit-calculator with an advanced Noon/FBN mode, no account needed.
Email alerts
Once a day SKUmargin scans the trailing 7 days of per-SKU profitability and emails your organisation's notification address a list of any SKU trading below 10% margin on meaningful revenue, deduped so the same SKU does not fire twice in a day.
Team and roles
Invite colleagues from Settings > Team. Owner holds billing, Admin manages stores and the team, Member does the day-to-day work (COGS, uploads, expenses), Viewer is read-only. Seats are capped per plan.
Billing, plans, and limits
Four tiers, monthly or annual: Standard, Professional, Business, and Scale, scaling by monthly orders, stores, and team seats. The 30-day trial unlocks everything with no card. At 80% of your monthly orders cap you get an amber banner; at 100% new Orders CSV uploads pause until you upgrade or the month rolls over, while API sync keeps running.
Contacting support
Use the Messages button inside the app, or email support@skumargin.com for anything product related; we typically reply inside one business day. Setup help is free on every plan, including the trial: ask in Messages and we will walk you through connecting your Noon store and entering your first costs, by message or on a 20-minute screen-share, whichever you prefer. Data-protection or deletion requests go to privacy@skumargin.com, legal and compliance to legal@skumargin.com.
